Crew Operations: Injecting water into the PONDS Root Cylinders while residing on the ISS MWA was much easier to implement than injecting water once the PONDS were already installed into Veggie.

 

Germination Caps: For termination of PONDS units the addition of the Germination Caps (left side top) was easy to accomplish and (in 1 instance) was employed to shield the crew from contaminant exposure.

 

Plant Harvest Operations: Harvesting plants and root cylinders was easy with no observable water leakage from the PONDS Units (left side bottom).
